“Jeff is more than a coach; he’s a friend, a mentor, and a cheerleader. He figures out what kind of coach his athletes need and can become that coach, knowing when to push, when to be gentle, when to give a break. With his guidance, I have found the best way for me to train.  After shoulder surgery and breaking my foot (which left me in a camboot for over 6 months), Jeff’s coaching guided me towards one of my most successful seasons in 2019. I was 2nd overall female in Sleepy Hollow Sprint triathlon, 1st overall female in the Windmill sprint triathlon, 1st overall female in West Point Sprint triathlon, 1st in my AG and 9th overall female in Westchester Olympic Triathlon, and I competed in AG Nationals. Jeff was at my side for each of these accomplishments, maybe yelling a little bit about taking too much time during transitions, but certainly the loudest person cheering.”

Barracuda Tri is the #1 Youth & Junior Triathlon program and team in Westchester County!

The “Youth & Junior” divisions are the fastest growing segments of triathlon today! More and more races are being developed just for kids all over the country, and internationally.

The great thing about youth triathlon is that all three sports; swimming, biking, and running, are activities kids do all the time. Our goal is to increase their skill level in each discipline, and teach them how to have fun and succeed in a sport they can to for the rest of their lives.
